IN THE\nAMOUNT OF $80,535.44 FOR A TOTAL NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF\n$155,535.44 FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025-26 FOR THE PURCHASE OF TRAFFIC\nSIGNAL SYSTEM COMPONENTS.\nComment: Staff recommends that City Council waive the bidding requirement as it is\nin the best interest of the City and approve a Change Purchase Order in the amount\nof $80,535.44 to Swarco McCain, Inc. for the purchase of traffic signal system\ncomponents, including retroreflective traffic signal backplates for enhanced visibility.

The proposed Police Department specific program will be an enhanced\nversion of the City's current program, with increased bonus amounts to attract more\ncandidates in the competitive market for Police Officers.
