A. Waive Full Reading of Ordinances on Agenda

C. CFD NO. 2006-01 Resolution of Intention to Establish Improvement Area\n(IA) No. 19\nRecommendation: To adopt a Resolution of Intention (ROI) to establish\nImprovement Area No. 19, CFD 2006-01.

A. Special Use Permit 2023-004 Coachella Valley Bully Fest\nRecommendation: To approve Special Use Permit 2023-004 for the Coachella\nValley Bully Fest to be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024\nin the Cathedral City Community Amphitheater.

B. Special Use Permit 2023-005 for 2023 Battle in the Desert\nRecommendation: To approve Special Use Permit No. 2023-005 for the 2023\nBattle in the Desert to be held on Saturday, October 14,\n2023 in the Cathedral City Community Amphitheater.

C. Award Contract to Jacobsson Engineering Construction Company for\nthe Via De Anza Street Improvements Project - Phase II, CIP No. 8835\nRecommendation: To award a contract to Jacobsson Engineering Construction,\nInc. in the amount of $545,167 for constructing the CDBG\nPublic Improvements Project: Via De Anza Street\nImprovements Project - Phase II (C08835); and, approve a\nfifteen percent (15%) contingency in the amount of $81,775\nfor any unforeseeable construction costs; thereby, bringing\nthe total construction budget for this Project to $626,942;\nand, authorize the City Manager to execute the required\nCathedral City Page 2\ncontract documents; and, authorize the City Engineer to\nrequest bonds and insurance for the Project and to issue the\nNotice to Proceed.\n4. ANNUAL RENEWAL OF THE LIGHTING AND LANDSCAPING\nDISTRICT BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023/2024\nRecommendation: To adopt three Resolutions to renew the\nannual assessments with Street Lighting and\nLandscape Maintenance District No. 1 (Zones\n1 through 54, non-sequential)

D. Approve the Public Arts Commission's Recommendation to Accept a\nDonation of a Val Samuelson Painting\nRecommendation: To accept the Public Arts Commission's recommendation\nand approve the acceptance of a donation of a Val\nSamuelson painting and authorize the City Manager to\nexecute an agreement with the donor to accept the artwork.

E. Accept Public Arts Commission Recommendation to Secure Sculptures\nat Amphitheater\nRecommendation: To authorize staff to place additional rocks surrounding the\nDowntown kinetic art installation in an amount not to exceed\n$750.
