6.4\na.\nAccept grant funding in the amount of $15,840 from the California State Library for the\nCorona Public Library’s Zip Books grant project through the California Library Services Act\nfunds.\nb.\nAuthorize an appropriation and estimated revenue increase in the amount of $15,840 to the\nCommunity Services Department’s operating budget in the Library - Other Grants Fund 415.\nc.\nAuthorize the City Manager, or his designee, to amend the budget accordingly if the\nCalifornia State Library distributes additional funds to Zip Book grant participants.\nRESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE RESULTS OF AN ELECTION AND ADDING TERRITORY TO\nCOMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 2016-1 (PUBLIC SERVICES) OF THE CITY OF CORONA\n(ANNEXATION NO. 27)\nThat the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2025-098, certifying the results of an election and adding\nterritory to Community Facilities District No. 2016-1 (Public Services) of the City of Corona (Annexation\nNo. 27).

6.5\nMEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING FOR REIMBURSING OFF-DUTY PERSONNEL AND\nEQUIPMENT AT SPECIAL EVENTS FOR CORONA NORCO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT\nThat the City Council:\na. Authorize the City Manager, or their designee, to approve the Memorandum of Understanding\nregarding the reimbursement of off-duty personnel and equipment at special events between the City of\nCorona Police Department and the Corona-Norco Unified School District, effective July 2, 2025,\nthrough July 1, 2026.\nb.Authorize the Police Department to provide off-duty police personnel to assist with security, public\nsafety, traffic control, and crowd management services at district special events, subject to\ndepartmental availability and operational needs.\nc.Authorize the Police Chief or designee to review and approve individual requests for services based\non departmental capacity and operational requirements, with no obligation to fulfill requests that would\ncreate undue hardship or material impact regular public safety services within the City’s jurisdiction.\nd.Implement the mutual indemnification provisions outlined in Section 6 of the agreement.

6.7\nFISCAL YEAR 2025 YEAR-END BUDGETARY ADJUSTMENTS\nThat the City Council:\na.\nAuthorize a total appropriation in the amount of $8,000 ($5,000 in the CFD 97-1 Landscape\nMaintenance Fund 248 and $3,000 in the LMD 84-2 Zone 6 Fund 457) to address year-end\nshortfalls resulting from increased water and recycled water expenditures.\nb.\nAuthorize an appropriation in the amount of $2,480,000 from the Workers’ Compensation\nFund 683 to the Legal and Risk Management Department’s operating budget to adjust for an\naccounting entry related to the updated value of projected claims.

9.4\na.\nApprove the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the OC Marathon, LLC., to\ncoordinate and produce the inaugural Corona 5000 5K Road Race subject to compliance\nwith all applicable provisions of the Corona Municipal Code, including but not limited to\nChapter 12.32 (Special Events and Street Closures), and any other relevant local, county, or\nstate regulations.\nb.\nAuthorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute all necessary agreements and\npermits with OC Marathon LLC.\nREQUEST FROM COUNCIL MEMBER SPEAKE TO EXPLORE CORDON PRICING FOR THE\nGREEN RIVER ROAD/FOOTHILL PARKWAY CORRIDOR TO DETER CUT THROUGH TRAFFIC\nThat the City Council provide feedback and direction regarding procurement of a consultant to prepare\na preliminary feasibility study to determine Green River Road/Foothill Parkway Cordon pricing’s legal\nfeasibility, constructability, pricing strategy, implementation costs, potential revenue, and possible\npartnerships with other agencies.
