10.\nCity of Hawthorne’s Investment Report for the quarter ended March 31, 2026.\nRECOMMENDED MOTION:\nStaff recommends that the City Council receive, approve and file the City of Hawthorne’s\nInvestment Report for the quarter ended March 31, 2026 of FY 25-26.

11.\nAn agreement with CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) to jointly pursue two state grants\nand for CORE to be a sub-recipient if the grants are awarded.\nRECOMMENDED MOTION:\nApprove the Pre-teaming Agreement with CORE and authorize the Planning Director to execute\nthe Agreement on behalf of the City.

12.\nApproval of Lease Closeout and Transitional Agreement, subject to further negotiations.\nRECOMMENDED MOTION:\nStaff recommends the City Council to authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute a\nLease Closeout and Transitional Agreement with California Water Service Company, subject to\napproval as to form by the City Attorney.

13.\nApproval of an agreement between the Hawthorne Police Department and the Hawthorne School\nDistrict for the provision of a "School Resource Officer" (SRO).\nRECOMMENDED MOTION:\nStaff recommends the City Council approve and authorize the City Manager (or his designee) to\nexecute the agreement between the Hawthorne Police Department and the Hawthorne School\nDistrict for the provision of a "School Resource Officer" (SRO).

14.\nAgreement between the City of Hawthorne and TierFive Inc. for Building Safety records digitization\nand conversion services.\nRECOMMENDED MOTION:\nStaff recommends that the City Council approve the agreement with TierFive Inc. and authorize\nthe City Manager or his designee to enter into and execute the agreement.

9.\nApproval to Proceed with FIFA-Themed Public Art Mural on Firmona Avenue Near I-105 Freeway.\nRECOMMENDED MOTION:\nStaff requests that the City Council approve moving forward with the commissioning and\ninstallation of a FIFA-themed mural located on Firmona Avenue near the I-105 Freeway corridor.\nUpon approval, staff will proceed with final design selection, artist contracting, and project\nimplementation. Completion is anticipated prior to the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
