Budaet Adiustments for Emergency Preparedness and Response Efforts as a Result of\nthe Line Fire for Fiscal Year 2024/ 2025\nRECOMMENDATION: The Finance/ Personnel Subcommittee recommends the City\nCouncil:\n1) Approve a budget adjustment in the amount of $ 200, 001 from the General Fund\nreserves, Economic Uncertainty fund balance ( 001- 2550), to be expended from\n001. 1450.4260 for immediate emergency preparedness and response efforts. This\nadjustment will bring the total budget emergency preparedness and response\nefforts to $ 300, 000 for Fiscal Year 2024/ 2025; and\n2) Authorize the City Manager to approve contracts and purchase orders up to the\ntotal budgeted amount of $ 300, 000 for emergency preparedness and response\nefforts.\nAgenda December 10, 2024\nCity Council Regular Meeting\nCITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING\nThe order of business for Public Hearings shall be.\n1) Mayor opens Public Hearing;\n2) Staff presentation;\n3) Applicant/ Representative presentation,\n4) Speakers in favor of proposal;\n5) Speakers in opposition to proposal;\n6) Applicant rebuttal;\n7) Mayor closes Public Hearing,\n8) Council discussion, motion and vote.\nOnce the Public Hearing is closed, no further testimony is taken.
