Authorize the City Manager to execute the Second Amendment; and\n3. Approve additional FY 2024-2025 budget appropriations in the amount of\n$9,040 in Fund 720, Information Systems and Fund 100, General Fund.

E. APPROVAL TO PURCHASE ORGANIC WASTE PRODUCTS FROM\nBURRTEC WASTE INDUSTRIES, INC. TO SATISFY 2024 SB 1383\nPROCUREMENT TARGET\n1. Requested Action: That the City Council approve the purchase of organic\nwaste products from Burrtec Waste Industries, Inc. to satisfy 2024 SB 1383\nprocurement target and authorize the City Manager to execute the purchase\norder.\n2. Authorize the Finance Director to make any necessary budget\nadjustments.

B. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL – POTENTIAL LITIGATION.\nThe City Council will meet in closed session with the City Attorney pursuant to\nGovernment Code Section 54956.9(d)(2).(3) with respect to one matter of potential\nlitigation. A point has been reached where, in the opinion of the City Attorney,\nbased on existing facts and circumstances, there is a significant exposure to\nlitigation involving the City based on the letter to Assistant City Attorney Maricela\nMarroquin dated October 7, 2024 from Linda Klein, attorney for Warmington\nResidential with respect to the proposed project at 7586 Jurupa Road, which letter\nis available for public inspection from the Office of the City Clerk.

C. CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATORS. The City\nCouncil will meet in closed session pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8\nregarding the acquisition of certain property interests from the real property located\nat the corner of 58th Street and Etiwanda Avenue, Jurupa Valley CA (APN 161-\n180-033). The negotiating parties are the City of Jurupa Valley and the property\nowner, Rodeo Café Corporation. Negotiators for the City are Rod Butler, Michael\nFlad, and Amy Sells. Under negotiations are price and terms of the acquisition of\nthe property.

The negotiating parties are the City of\nJurupa Valley and the property owner, New Hope Transport. Negotiators for the\nCity are Rod Butler, Michael Fad, and Amy Sells. Under negotiations are price and\nterms of the acquisition of the property.
