However, if new planters are\nproposed instead of the standard ongrade parkways, then they shall be\ninstalled with the BOE approved materials and be subject to the\nrequirements of the RPermit Policy for Sidewalk Encroachments under a\nnew RPermit application. The design and construction of the new planters\nwithin the public way shall comply with appropriate permit procedures\nincluding any necessary special inspection. The property owner(s) shall\nobtain an APermit to do the construction from the WLA District Office, 1828\nSawtelle Boulevard, 3rd Floor, or apply online at\nhttps://engpermits.lacity.org/apermits.\nThe property owner(s) or applicant shall submit a Customer Service Request\n(CSR) to the BOE WLA District office, with the most recent pictures of the\nplanters every six months after the RPermit issuance. The BOE WLA\nDistrict office shall forward these pictures to BSS and the Bureau of Contract\nAdministration if they determine an investigation or inspection is required.
