Recommendation for Council action: APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the General Manager, Personnel Department, or designee, to execute the Second Amended and Restated Professional Services Agreement (Contract No. C-139210) with PureEHS Buyer LLC, formerly known as UL Verification Services, Inc. to: a. Increase the expenditure authority by $412,506 resulting in a not to exceed compensation totaling $1,344,734. b. Extend the term by two years resulting in a term effective September 30, 2021 through September 29, 2028. c. Update the City’s standard contracting provisions to include the “Standard Provisions for City Contracts (Rev.1/25)[v.2],” subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney. Fiscal Impact Statement: The CAO reports that funding for the Agreement is available in the 2026-27 Budget within the Personnel Department’s Contractual Services Account within the line item titled “Occupational Health Management software.” There is no additional impact to the General Fund. Financial Policies Statement: The CAO reports that as budgeted funds are available to support the Agreement and expenditures, and future year expenditures are limited to the appropriation of funds, the recommendation of the August 21, 2026 CAO report, attached to the Council File, complies with the City's Financial Policies.
