Adopting a Resolution authorizing the City Manager, or designee, to submit\napplications to the San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District for all grants for which\nthe City is eligible, and to execute all grant documents and accept and administer\nany awarded grant funds, consistent with the Resolution;\n2. Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.

10.D. Amendment to Agreement No. 2395-AA with Knight Leadership Solutions, LLC\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n1. Authorizing the City Manager to execute a third amendment to agreement no. 2395-\nAA with Knight Leadership Solutions, LLC., in a form approved by the City Attorney,\nto provide miscellaneous City Council and staff development seminars through June\n30, 2027; and\n2. Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.

12.A. A Resolution appointing City Councilmembers to Specific Organizations\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n1. Adopting a Resolution appointing representatives to specific organizations; and\n2. Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.

12.B. Consideration and possible introduction and first reading of an Ordinance amending\nMonterey Park Municipal Code Chapters 1.10, 2.56, 4.20, and 4.30 to designate the\nPlanning Commission as the Board of Appeals to consider appeals arising from\napplication of the California Building Standards Code\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n1. Reading by title only, waiving further reading, and introducing an Ordinance\namending Monterey Park Municipal Code Chapters 1.10, 2.56, 4.20, and 4.30 to\ndesignate the Planning Commission as the Board of Appeals to consider appeals\narising from application of the California Building Standards Code; and\n2. Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.\nCEQA (California Environmental Quality Act): The Ordinance is exempt from additional\nreview under the California Environmental Quality Act (Public Resources Code §§ 21000, et\nseq., “CEQA”) and the regulations promulgated thereunder (14 California Code of\nRegulations §§ 15000, et seq., the “CEQA Guidelines”) because it consists only of minor\nrevisions and clarifications to an existing code of construction-related regulations and\nspecification of procedures related thereto and will not have the effect of deleting or\nsubstantially changing any regulatory standards or findings required therefor, and therefore\ndoes not have the potential to cause significant effects on the environment.

9.A. Concept Approval and Award of Contract for January 21 Memorial Design\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n1. Approving the proposed memorial concept presented by Kimley Horn, with any\nCouncil-directed modifications to be incorporated before final design;\n2. Authorizing the City Manager to execute a Professional Services Agreement with\nKimley Horn, in a form approved by the City Attorney, for the design of the January\n21, 2023 Memorial; and\n3. Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
