Receive and accept a donation of $125,000.00 from the United Activists for\nAnimal Rights, a non-profit organization, for the purpose of providing spay-neuter\nsurgeries for medium- and large-size dogs.\n2. This recommendation aligns with\nthe proposed amendments to the Municipal Code, specifically empowering the\nCouncil to approve and sign letters of commendation and recommendation at a\nnoticed public meeting or upon recommendation by the City Manager.
