(Copp)\nRecommendation: 1) Reconfirm, by a four-fifths vote, there is a need to\ncontinue the work on the Emergency Project declared by Council-adopted\nResolution No. 2024-20 on May 7, 2024, finding an emergency exists requiring\nimmediate action in the Greater Portuguese Bend-Ancient Altamira Landslide\nComplex (Landslide Complex) to seek to mitigate the movement of the\nlandslide; and 2) Direct the City Clerk to confirm the same in the minutes of\nthis City Council meeting, via Minute Order, reflecting this action.\nAgenda Report

H.\nConsider authorizing construction of a third donor recognition monument at\nDel Cerro Park (Lozano)\nRecommendation: Authorize the construction of a third donor recognition\nmonument at Del Cerro Park to recognize donors who have made significant\nmonetary contributions toward the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land\nConservancy’s (Land Conservancy) Go Wild for the Peninsula Capital\nCampaign and to recognize City Council members, Land Conservancy Board\nmembers, and other officials, as deemed appropriate, for their efforts to\nacquire the Wildlife Corridor.\nAgenda Report

2.\nConsider requiring local grocery stores to offer paper coupons as an\nalternative to digital-only promotions (Pujadas) (15 mins)\nRecommendation: 1) Direct staff to include the continued availability of paper\ncoupons for all patrons as a legislative priority for the City’s 2026 Legislative\nPlatform; and, 2) Direct staff to work with our State representatives to explore\nopportunities for introducing or supporting state legislation in 2026 on the\ncontinued availability of paper coupons throughout California.\nAgenda Report
