APPROVAL OF A TRANSFER AGREEMENT WITH THE LOS ANGELES\nCOUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT FOR THE RECEIPT OF SAFE CLEAN\nWATER PROGRAM FUNDS DURING FISCAL YEAR 2024-25 THROUGH FY\n2027-28\nThe City Council is requested to approve a new transfer agreement with County\nof Los Angeles Flood Control District to receive funds from the Safe Clean Water\nProgram.\nRecommendation:\n1. Approve a Transfer Agreement (Attachment “A”) between the City and the\nCounty of Los Angeles Flood Control District for the receipt of Safe Clean\nWater Program Funds; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to sign the Transfer Agreement.

ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 24-5770 APPROVING INSTALLATION OF\nADDITIONAL TRAFFIC CONTROL MEASURES AT ALESSANDRO AVENUE AND\nKENNERLY STREET AND OLEMA STREET AND TRELAWNEY AVENUE\nThe City Council is requested to approve the installation of additional traffic\ncontrol measures at Alessandro Avenue and Kennerly Street and Olema Street\nand Trelawney Avenue.\nRecommendation:\nAdopt Resolution No. 24-5770 approving installation of the following traffic control\nmeasures for:\nAlessandro Avenue and Kennerly Street:\n1. Stop Sign on the Northeast corner at the intersection between Alessandro\nAvenue and Kennerly Street, located on Kennerly Street;\n2. Stop pavement marking Westbound along Alessandro Avenue near the\nintersection with Kennerly Street, located on Kennerly Street;\n3. Stop Bar pavement marking Westbound along Alessandro Avenue near the\nintersection with Kennerly Street, located on Kennerly Street; and\n4. Plaque added to the Stop sign for Westbound traffic that reads "Cross Traffic\nDoes Not Stop", (W4-4P), and to add 20’ of red curb on the Southeast corner\nof Kennerly Street.\nOlema Street and Trelawney Avenue:\n1. Install Yield Sign(R1-2) for the eastbound direction, at the intersection of\nOlema Street and Trelawney Avenue;\n2. Install “Traffic Does Not Stop” Plaque for the eastbound direction, at the\nintersection of Olema Street and Trelawney Avenue;\n3. Install Stop Bar & “STOP” pavement legend along the eastbound direction of\nOlema Street, at the intersection with Trelawney Avenue;\n4. Remove faded “No Parking; 7AM - 5PM; School Day; Without Permit” sign that\nis located along the south side of Olema Street, at the intersection with\nTrelawney Avenue. Replace sign and relocate it to be located along the south\nside of Olema Street, approximately 65-feet west of Trelawney Avenue; and\n5. Add red curb markings on the southwest side of Olema Street opposite the\nexisting red curb markings on the northwest side of Olema Street.

APPROVAL OF AGREEMENTS WITH THE TEMPLE CITY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE\nThe City Council is requested to approve a one-year Professional Services\nAgreement and a three-year lease agreement with the Chamber of Commerce.\nRecommendation:\n1. Approve a one-year, Professional Services Agreement with the Temple\nCity Chamber of Commerce for business promotion and public\ninformation services (Attachment “A”) for $62,500 from July 1, 2024,\nthrough June 30, 2025; and\n2. Approve a three-year lease agreement with the Temple City\nChamber of Commerce for office space within the Council Chambers\nbuilding, effective September 1, 2024; and\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the agreements.
