5.3 Adopt a Resolution Declaring the City’s Intent to Sell City-Owned Property\nAdjacent to the I-405 Freeway to OCTA for the I-405 Freeway Improvement\nProject and Set a Date for a Public Hearing.\nRECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the Mayor and City Council:\nA. Adopt a Resolution entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY\nCOUNCIL OF CITY OF WESTMINSTER, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS\nINTENT TO SELL REAL PROPERTY TO THE ORANGE COUNTY\nTRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY”; and\nB. Set a Public Hearing for March 22, 2023 for consideration of protests to the\nproperty sale; and\nC. Consider the addition of approximately half an acre of new parkland to\nMargie L. Rice Park, if the sale is approved.
