Desert Arc Janitorial Division Amendment 1 to Agreement Covering FY24/25 to\nFY27/28\nRecommendation:\nThat the Town Council approves Amendment 1 to the four-year\ncontract for professional janitorial services with Desert Arc for Town\nParks/Facilities that adds three (3) locations to the Agreement’s Scope\nof Service. On top of the five-percent (0.05%) FY25/26 monthly rate\nincrease is an additional $1,700.00 for the three sites from $5,268.61 to\n$7,232.04, and authorizes the Town Manager, Town Attorney, and the\nMayor to sign Amendment 1 and all necessary documents to implement\nthe services.

A purchase order in the amount of $44,595.00 to Dillon Concrete\nfor the construction of a 60’ by 60’ concrete pad at the Town\nPublic Works Yard.\n2. A purchase order in the amount of $16,750.00 to MD Concrete\nfor installation of Curb and Gutter on Yucca Trail west of Inca\nTrail.

Agreement for Environmental Consulting Services, EA 02-25, S 01-04, & CUP 01-\n25 Wal-Mart Fuel Station, California Environmental Quality Act Review -\nPlaceworks\nRecommendation:\nThat the Town Council approves and authorizes the Town Manager,\nto enter into a Professional Services Agreement with Placeworks, to\nprepare the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) analysis\nand documentation for Environmental Assessment (EA) 02-25,\nSpecific Plan Amendment (S) 01-04, and Conditional Use Permit\n(CUP) 01-25 Wal-Mart Fuel Station, with a maximum contract value\nof $69,701.00 for the preparation of an Addendum to the Yucca\nValley Retail Specific Plan Environmental Impact Report (EIR), and\nauthorizes the Mayor, Town Manager and Town Attorney to sign all\ndocuments necessary to implement the Agreement.

9. Authorization to Purchase Replacement Fleet Heavy Equipment, Unit #77 and\nVehicle Replacement Unit #78\nRecommendation:\nThat the Town Council:\n1. Authorizes the purchase of one (1) new Toro ProCore 1298\nAerator, with the amount not to exceed $55,618.31 to replace\nunit #77; and authorizes the purchase of one (1) new John Deere\n5060E Cab Utility Tractor, with an amount not to exceed\n$44,966.59 to replace unit #78.\n2. Declares unit #77, 2001 Ryan Aerator, and unit #78, 1999 Massey\nFerguson 243, as surplus, and approves the sale of the surplus\nvehicles, authorizing the Town Manager or designee to\nauction/sell the vehicle through a public bidding/auction process\nor through disposition through dismantling services.
