41. PROPOSITION A DISCRETIONARY INCENTIVE GRANT PROGRAM\nMEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING FOR REPORT YEAR 2022\n(COMMUNITY SERVICES)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1) Authorize the City Manager to execute the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)\nwith the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) for\nthe Proposition A Discretionary Incentive Grant Program National Transit\nDatabase (NTD) for report year 2022; and\n2) Approve the recognition of $8,812 in Proposition A grant funds awarded for our\nvoluntary collection and reporting of FY 2021-22 ridership data. These funds will\nbe recorded in the Special County Transit Tax Fund, account 2410-2427; and\n3) Establish a corresponding expense allocation of $8,812 in the Community\nServices – Transit Services activity expenditure account (No.10105850-521000)\nto support cost of collection and reporting data; and\n4) Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
