32. LOS ANGELES COUNTY TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYNCHRONIZATION PROJECTS\n(TSSP): SLAUSON AVENUE, NORWALK BOULEVARD, LEFFINGWELL ROAD –\nADD PROJECTS TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (PUBLIC WORKS)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1) Approve adding the Los Angeles County Traffic Signal Synchronization Projects\n(TSSPs) including Slauson Avenue, Norwalk Boulevard and Leffingwell Road to\nthe Capital Improvement Program; and\n2) Appropriate $63,305 from the Utility Users Tax (UUT) Capital Improvement Fund\nto the Los Angeles County Traffic Signal Synchronization Project (TSSP) on\nSlauson Avenue; and\n3) Appropriate $53,000 from the Utility Users Tax (UUT) Capital Improvement Fund\nto the Los Angeles County Traffic Signal Synchronization Project (TSSP) on\nNorwalk Boulevard; and\n4) Authorize payment of City’s share of project cost for the Slauson Avenue Project\nin the amount of $63,305, and Norwalk Boulevard Project in the amount of\n$53,000 to Los Angeles County via the County’s City Service Request Tracking\nSystem; and\nNovember 12, 2024: City Council Meeting Page 12 of 17\n5) Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
