CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 24-238,\nAUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF THE TRANSPORTATION\nVEHICLE FROM ("MODEL 1") COMMERCIAL VEHICLES, INC.\nThe Senior Services and Transportation Division ("Division") is committed\nto improving mobility for seniors and individuals with disabilities by offering\nsafe and efficient transportation services. The Division seeks approval to\npurchase a new 2023 BraunAbility Van Chrysler ("Voyager") with funding\nallocated through the Prop A- Dispatch Implementation Plan account\nincluded in the City's approved Fiscal Year (FY) 2024-2025 Budget.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Approve Resolution No. 24-238, approving the purchase of the\nVoyager from Model 1; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute all requisite\ndocuments for the purchase.
