CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 24-235,\nAPPROVING PROJECT ACCEPTANCE AND NOTICE OF\nCOMPLETION FOR THE TRAFFIC SIGNAL IMPROVEMENTS AT\nVARIOUS SIGNALIZED INTERSECTIONS PROJECT (HSIPL-\n5352(020)).\nOn August 28, 2023, the Engineering Department solicited bids for the\nTraffic Signal Improvements at Various Intersections Project. On October\n10, 2023, Elecnor Belco Electric, Inc. (“Contractor”) was awarded a\nconstruction contract for the Traffic Signal Improvements at Various\nSignalized Intersections Project. The final cost for the construction work\ncompleted by Elecnor Belco Electric, Inc. is $470,416.17.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 24-235, accepting the completion for the\nTraffic Signal Improvements at Various Signalized Intersections\nProject;\n2. Authorize City Clerk to send the Notice of Completion for\nrecordation to the Los Angeles County Recorder’s Office; and\n3. Release retention accordingly.
