CC 3. Task Order for Multi-Year Professional Services (Service Group Category 1 – Roadway and\nStructures Engineering) Design Services for Lancaster Health District Phase 2 (formerly\nMedical Main Street) (Reference: PWCP 24-028)\nRecommendation(s):\n1. Approve Task Order 6 with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., (KHA) of Los Angeles,\nCalifornia, in accordance with the Multi-Year Professional Services Agreement for Lancaster\nHealth District Phase 2 (formerly Medical Main Street) Design Services in the amount of\n$272,912.00, plus a 10% contingency; and authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to\nsign all documents.\n2. Find the City has complied with the California Environmental Quality Act. A Notice of\nExemption was filed on June 8, 2021.\nThe City of Lancaster is looking to complete Phase 2 of the Lancaster Health District (LHD)\nInfrastructure Improvements Project (Project). This phase of the Project will construct\napproximately 0.6 miles of new complete streets to alleviate the current burden on the\nexisting arterial network, while providing necessary access to existing and proposed medical\nfacilities.
