APPOINTMENT OF ADVISORY BODY MEMBERS TO THE RECREATION\nCOMMISSION AND LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES\nRecommendation: The Council Liaisons for the Recreation Commission recommend\nthe Council appointment of three (3) regular members to serve three-year terms\neach commencing on November 13, 2024.\nThe Council Liaisons for the Library Board of Trustees recommend the Council\nappointment of one (1) alternate member to serve a partial term commencing on\nNovember 13, 2024.\nIf Council concurs, the appropriate motions would be:\n“I move to appoint Victor Chang, David Raichlen, and Tammie Ton as regular\nmembers of the Recreation Commission to serve terms ending May 31, 2028.”\n“I move to appoint Marilyn Peck as an alternate member of the Library Board of\nTrustees to serve a partial term to end on May 31, 2026.”
