O-24-1417\nAN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARINO\nAMENDING SAN MARINO MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 2.06.03\nPERTAINING TO THE CITY MANAGER’S AUTHORITY TO PAY CLAIMS\nAND ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. R-24-36 DELEGATING CLAIMS\nSETTLEMENT AUTHORITY TO THE CITY MANAGER\nRecommendation: Staff recommends the City Council introduce for first reading\nOrdinance No. O-24-1417 amending San Marino Municipal Code section 2.06.03 and\napprove Resolution No. R-24-36, delegating $30,000 in settlement/claims payment\nauthority to the City Manager for non-CJPIA covered claims. If the City Council\nagrees, an appropriate motion would be:\n“I move to introduce Ordinance No. O-24-1417, an Ordinance of the City Council of\nthe City of San Marino Amending San Marino Municipal Code Section 2.06.03\nPertaining to the City Manager’s Authority to Pay Claims for first reading by title only\nand waive further reading; and approve Resolution No. R-24-36.”
