8) CONSIDERATION TO APPROVE A CONTRACT AMENDMENT WITH UNITED MAINTENANCE\nSYSTEMS EXTENDING THE TERM OF THE EXISTING JANITORIAL CONTRACT, AND APPROVE A\nCONTRACT SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH JJ PROPERTY MAINTENANCE NETWORK\nINCORPORATED FOR JANITORIAL SERVICES\nRecommend that the City Council:\nSpecial and Regular Meeting Notice and Agenda – November 18, 2024\na. Approve a Contract Amendment with United Maintenance Systems (Contract No. 1901(a))\nextending the term of the existing janitorial contract through December 31, 2024, to\nprovide services through the transition period;\nb. Approve a Contract Services Agreement with JJ Property Maintenance Network\nIncorporated (Contract No. 2312) in an amount not to exceed $225,770 for janitorial\nservices for nine public buildings, facilities and parks including day porter services for the\nCity’s Senior Meal and Summer/Winter Day Camp programs.\nc. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to make non-substantive changes and execute\nthe agreement.
