9) CONSIDERATION TO APPROVE A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE LOS\nANGELES COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT TO ACCEPT PHASE 3 URBAN AND\nMULTIBENEFIT DROUGHT RELIEF PROGRAM GRANT FUNDS FOR WELL 3 NITRATE REMOVAL\nTREATMENT SYSTEM RELATED PROJECTS AND ADOPT A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING\nFUNDS\nRecommend that the City Council:\na. Approve a Memorandum of Understanding with the Los Angeles County Flood Control\nDistrict (Contract No. 2317) to Accept Phase 3 Urban and Multibenefit Drought Relief\nProgram Grant Funds in the amount of $750,000 for Well 3 Nitrate Removal Treatment\nSystem Related projects;\nb. Adopt Resolution No. 8344 amending the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Adopted Budget to\nappropriate Phase 3 Urban and Multibenefit Drought Relief Program Grant Fund\nexpenditures and revenues; and\nc. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute the agreement and all related\ndocuments.
