I.21 AUTHORIZATION TO AWARD A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE\nREDLANDS BOULEVARD STREETLIGHT IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT BETWEEN\nGRELCK DRIVE TO THE NORTH CITY LIMITS (REPORT OF: PUBLIC WORKS)\nAuthorization to Award a Construction Contract to Elecnor Belco Electric, Inc. for the\nRedlands Boulevard Streetlight Improvements Project Number 801 0105 located\nbetween Grelck Drive to the North City Limits\nRecommendation(s)\nThat the City Council:\n1. Award a construction contract to Elecnor Belco Electric, Inc. for the Redlands\nBoulevard Streetlight Improvements Project located between Grelck Drive to the\nNorth City Limits; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute a contract with Elecnor Belco Electric, Inc.,\nin the amount of $220,783 funded by the DIF Arterial Streets Capital Projects Fund\n(Fund 3301); and\n10\n3. Authorize the issuance of a Purchase Order to Elecnor Belco Electric, Inc. for the\namount of $242,862 ($220,783 bid amount plus 10% contingency) once the contract\nhas been signed by all parties; and\n4. Authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer to execute any subsequent\nrelated change orders to the contract with Elecnor Belco Electric, Inc., up to the\nbudget as previously approved by the Council, subject to the approval of the City\nAttorney.
