I.18 AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO C.S. LEGACY CONSTRUCTION, INC.\nFOR THE MORENO VALLEY PUMP TRACK SITE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT\nNO. 807 0058 (REPORT OF: PARKS AND COMMUNITY SERVICES)\nAward Construction Contract to C.S. Legacy Construction, Inc. for the Moreno Valley\nPump Track Site Improvements (Project No. 807 0058).\nRecommendation(s)\nThat the City Council and CSD:\n1. Award a Construction Contract to C.S. Legacy Construction, Inc. for the\nconstruction of the Moreno Valley Pump Track Site Improvements Project No. 807\n0058; and\n2. Authorize the Executive Director or its designee to execute a contract with C.S.\nLegacy Construction, Inc. in the amount of $5,761,475.40 funded by PCS Capital\nProjects Park Improvements (3015); and\n3. Authorize the issuance of a Purchase Order to C.S. Legacy Construction, Inc. in\nthe amount of $6,337,622.94 ($5,761,475.40 bid amount plus 10% contingency)\nnecessary to complete the construction of this project when the contract has been\n8\nsigned by all parties; and\n4. Authorize the Executive Director or its designee to execute any subsequent related\nchange orders to the contract with C.S. Legacy Construction, Inc. within Council\napproved budgeted amounts, subject to the approval of the City Attorney; and\n5. Authorize a budget adjustment and interfund loan as set forth in the fiscal impact\nsection of this report.
