CONSIDER AWARD OF BID FOR PROJECT NO. 16135, PD 2ND FLOOR EXPANSION\nPROJECT (BID NO. 2024-09)\nCEQA: Categorically Exempt from further environmental review pursuant to Section 15301(c)\n(Existing Facilities). The City filed the Notice of Exemption with the County of San Bernardino\non November 18, 2024.\nRecommended Action:\nApprove the plans and specifications for Project No. 16135, PD 2nd Floor Expansion Project\nand award a construction contract to First Trade LLC, DBA YMC in the amount of $194,100\n(base bid amount plus additive item #1) and approve a construction contingency in the amount\nof $25,000 for a total contract amount of $219,100; and authorize the City Manager to execute\nthe agreement and any future amendments within the City Manager’s authority.
