Approve the Engineered Specifications prepared by NV5 Inc. for the FY 2023-24\nResidential Streets Slurry Seal Project; and\n2. Approve a Public Works Agreement with Roy Allan Slurry Seal, Inc., for the FY 2023-\n24 Street Rehabilitation Project in the amount of $2,152,611.17; and\n3. Reject all other bids received and authorize return of the bid bonds; and\n4. Authorize the Acting City Administrator to approve contract change orders up to ten\npercent (10%) of the contract amount, or $215,261.12, for a total construction contract\nnot-to-exceed amount of $2,367,872.29; and\n5. Approve a Cooperative Agreement with the City of Anaheim for the construction cost\nfor Anaheim’s fair share of roadway rehabilitation that is estimated to be $10,000, with\nthe final cost to be based at actual construction completion; and\n6. Approve a purchase order with Bowman Company to provide construction inspection\nand material testing services for a not-to-exceed amount of $80,000; and\n7. Adopt Resolution No. R-2024-73, A Resolution of the City Council of the City of\nPlacentia, California authorizing a budget amendment in Fiscal Year 2024-25 in\ncompliance with City Charter of the City of Placentia §§1206 and 1209 pertaining to\nappropriations for actual expenditures; and\n8. Authorize the Acting City Administrator and/or her designee to execute all necessary\ndocuments, in a form approved by the City Attorney.
