LETTER FROM THE MONTEBELLO BREWERS BASEBALL\nCORPORATION REQUESTING A LONG TERM RESERVATION,\nAPPROVAL TO HOST TWO BASEBALL TOURNAMENTS, AND FEE\nWAIVER FOR THE USE OF FIELDS AT NEW TEMPLE AND SHIVELY\nPARK\nThe Montebello Brewers Baseball Corporation (Brewers) are requesting a\nlong-term reservation from February 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023,\napproval of two (2) baseball tournaments, and a reservation fee waiver for\nthe use of the Dean L. Shivley Park and New Temple Park fields Monday\nthrough Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays\nfrom 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to host scheduled practices, games, and\ntournaments.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council discuss and\ntake action on the request by the Brewers for a long-term reservation,\napproval to host two (2) baseball tournaments and a fee waiver in the total\namount of $61,150.00.
