CONSIDERATION OF A SITE LEASE AGREEMENT WITH COAST ENERGY\nOPERATING, LLC TO DEVELOP A SOLAR CARPORT AND BATTERY BACKUP\nSYSTEM AT THE HOPE STREET AND MOUND AVENUE CITY-OWNED PARKING\nLOT\nRecommendation\nIt is recommended that the City Council authorize the City Manager to enter into a Solar\nand Storage Site Lease Agreement with Coast Energy Operating, LLC (Coast Energy),\nthrough the Clean Power Alliance (CPA) Power Ready Program, in the form finalized and\napproved by the City Manager and City Attorney to develop a solar carport and battery\nbackup system at the Hope Street and Mound Avenue City-owned parking lot.
