3.9 Resolution Authorizing the Execution of a Grant Award Contract Administered by\nthe Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) in Fiscal Year 2024-2025.\nRECOMMENDATION:\nA. Adopt a Resolution entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY\nCOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE\nEXECUTION OF A GRANT AWARD CONTRACT ADMINISTERED BY THE\nDEPARTMENT OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONTROL”; and\nB. Approve the Agreement with the California Department of Alcohol Beverage Control\n(ABC) for an Alcohol Policing Partnership Program (APP) Grant in the amount of\n$40,000 and authorize the Chief of Police to execute the same; and\nC. Amend the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 adopted budget by designating grant funds in\nthe amount of $40,000 in the Intergovernmental - State Other revenue account and\nincreasing budgeted expenditures in the amount of $40,000 in the ABC designated\nfund account for overtime, benefits, and special investigations.
