CONSIDERATION OF A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE\nCITY OF LYNWOOD AND THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES FOR COORDINATION\nOF DIGITAL CONNECTIVITY INVESTMENTS\nComments:\nConsideration to approve a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of Lynwood\nand the County of Los Angeles to cooperate and coordinate resources to apply for third party\nfunding opportunities and/or development of community-based connectivity projects. (IT)\nRecommendation:\nIt is recommended that the City Council (i) approve a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)\n(Attachment “A”) between the City and the County of Los Angeles to support broadband\nconnectivity and address the digital divide in the form finalized by the City Manager and City\nAttorney; and (ii) authorize the City Manager and City Attorney to make non-substantive changes\nand execute all related documents.
