13. Water Main Replacement Project, CIP No. 50098 - Award Construction\nContract. (500)\nRecommendation:\n1. Award a Construction Contract, in a form approved by the City Attorney, for\na not-to-exceed amount of $5,529,300 to Dominguez General Engineering,\nInc. for the Water Main Replacement Project - CIP No. 50098 (Project);\n2. Approve the plans and specifications for the Project;\n3. Authorize the Executive Director or his designee to process change orders,\nas needed, in an amount not-to-exceed $1,110,000 (approximately 20% of\nthe total contract amount) for construction contingency;\n4. Amend the fiscal year (FY) 2024-25 Adopted Budget by transferring funding\nin the amount of $850,000 in Water Authority Funds (Fund 550) from\nAccount No. 550.70.7340-54500-CIP50078 Water Main Replacement\n(Design) to Account No. 550.70.7340.54500-CIP50098, Water Main\nReplacement (Construction); and\n5. Approve the Notice of Exemption for the subject project and authorize the\nAuthority Secretary to file the Notice of Exemption with the County Recorder,\nin accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act.\nAgreement No. ______
