D. 2025 City Council Meeting Schedule\nCity Council meetings are scheduled for the second and fourth Tuesday of each\nmonth at 7: 00 p. m. In the past, the City Council has canceled the second meetings in\nAugust ( for summer break), November ( for Thanksgiving), and December ( for\nChristmas). Attached is the proposed meeting schedule for the 2025 calendar year.\nAdopting this schedule will help the City Council, staff, and the community plan their\nschedules in advance. The City Council has the discretion to add, modify, or cancel\nmeetings as needed.\nIn addition, Veterans Day falls on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, which coincides\nwith a regular City Council meeting day. As Veterans Day is a recognized holiday,\nthe City Council has the option to either reschedule the meeting as a special meeting\non a different day or cancel it altogether. The proposed options will be presented to\nthe City Council for consideration at a later date.\nRecommendation: That City Council adopt a City Council meeting schedule for the\n2025 calendar year.
