Notice of Completion for Route 66 Sidewalk and Curb Ramp Rehabilitation Project, Plan No. 1377,\nand Lone Hill Ave Sidewalk and Curb Ramp Rehabilitation Project, Plan No. 1381\nCITY RECOMMENDATION: 1. Accept the completion of Route 66 Sidewalk and Curb Ramp\nRehabilitation Project, Plan No. 1377 and Lone Hill Ave Sidewalk and Curb Ramp Rehabilitation\nProject, Plan No. 1381 by CJ Concrete Construction, Inc.; 2. Approve the final contract amount of\n$372,884; 3. Authorize the Mayor to sign and file the Notice of Completion with the County of Los\nAngeles Registrar-Recorder; 4. Authorize the Public Works Director to release the project retention\nin the amount of $18,644.20 to CJ Concrete Construction, Inc. 35 days following recordation of the\nNotice of Completion; 5. Authorize the release of the Labor and Materials bond in the amount of\n$373,750, six months after recordation of the Notice of Completion, if no claims have been\nreceived; and 6. Authorize the release of the Faithful Performance bond one-year after recordation\nof the Notice of Completion if the improvements remain free from defects in materials and\nworkmanship.
