6. Notice of Completion for CDBG Funded Curb Ramp Project FY 23-24, Plan No. 1382\nCITY RECOMMENDATION: 1. Approve the Plans and Specifications for CDBG Funded Curb\nRamp Project FY 23-24, Plan No. 1382; 2. Accept the completion of CDBG Funded Curb Ramp\nProject FY 23-24, Plan No. 1382 by Kalban, Inc.; 3. Approve the final contract amount of\n$223,380; 4. Authorize the Mayor to sign and file the Notice of Completion with the County of Los\nAngeles Registrar-Recorder; 5. Authorize the Public Works Director to release the project retention\nin the amount of $11,169.00 to Kalban, Inc. 35 days after the recordation of the Notice of\nCompletion; 6. Authorize the release of the Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of\n$244,680.00, six months after the recordation of the Notice of Completion, if no claims have been\nreceived; and 7. Authorize the release of the Faithful Performance Bond one (1) year following\nrecordation of Notice of Completion if the improvements remain free from defects in materials and\nworkmanship.
