Amendment to the El Cajon Municipal Code Chapter 8.32 - Regulation of Smoking and\nSecondhand Smoke in Certain Public Areas of El Cajon\nRECOMMENDATION:\nThat Mayor Wells requests the City Clerk to recite the title.\nAn Ordinance to Amend Sections 8.32.010, 8.32.020 and 8.32.030 of Chapter 8.32 of\nTitle 8 of the El Cajon Municipal Code, Relating to Regulation of Smoking and\nSecondhand Smoke in Certain Public Areas and Places of Employment, and to Amend\nSection 8.33.090 (A)(5) of Chapter 8.33 of Title 8 of the El Cajon Municipal Code,\nrelating to Licensure of Tobacco Retailers.\nThe proposed ordinance amendment is not subject to the California Environmental\nQuality Act (“CEQA”) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15378(b)(5) as it is an\norganizational or administrative activity of government that will not result in direct or\nindirect physical changes in the environment.
