Official Results of the 2024 General Municipal Election\nRECOMMENDATION:\nThat the City Council adopts the next Resolution, in order, declaring the results of the\nNovember 5, 2024 General Municipal Election for the election of three Members of the\nCity Council of the City of El Cajon: one Member each for District Two, District Three,\nand District Four, each serving a full four-year term to expire December 2028; and adopt\nOrdinance No. 5145 - Measure J, to impose a Transaction and Use Tax effective the\nfirst day following the expiration of the current one-half cent Transaction and Use Tax,\nfor an additional 20-year term (i.e., expiring March 31, 2049).
