Resolutions Authorizing the City Manager to Execute Agreements with\nthe California Department of Tax and Fee Administration for the\nImplementation of a Local Transactions and Use Tax and the\nAuthorization of Examination of Records\nRecommendation: 1. Adopt a Resolution entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF\nTHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CATHEDRAL\nCITY, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY\nMANAGER TO EXECUTE AGREEMENTS WITH THE\nCALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TAX AND FEE\nADMINISTRATION FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF A\nLOCAL TRANSACTIONS AND USE TAX.”\n2. Adopt a Resolution entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF\nTHE CITY OF CATHEDRAL CITY AUTHORIZING\nEXAMINATION OF SALES AND TRANSACTIONS AND\nUSE TAXES RECORDS.”\n3. Authorize the necessary budget amendment of\n$175,000.
