B. Contract Award for Design Professional Services to STC Traffic, Inc. for\nthe SB 821 Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities Program for Perez Road\nClass IV Separated Bikeways Project (C08673) and Whispering Palms\nTrail Class III Bike Routes Project (C08672).\nRecommendation: • To award a professional services agreement to\nSTC Traffic, Inc. for the SB 821 Bicycle and\nPedestrian Facilities program to prepare the\nplans, specifications, right of way and\nenvironmental documents for the:\no Perez Road Class IV Separated Bikeways\nproject (C08673), in the amount of\n$31,760.00; and approve a ten percent\n(10%) contingency for unforeseen design\nrelated contingencies in the amount of\n$3,240.00; thereby bringing the total\ndesign encumbrance for this project to\n$35,000.00; and,\no Whispering Palms Trail Class III Bike\nRoutes project (C08672), in the amount of\n$31,760.00; and approve a ten percent\n(10%) contingency for unforeseen design\nrelated contingencies in the amount of\n$3,240.00; thereby bringing the total\ndesign encumbrance for this project to\n$35,000.00; and,\n• Authorize the City Manager to execute the\ncontract.
