13.v AWARD CONTRACT TO SUPERIOR PAVEMENT MARKINGS, INC., OF 481\nCYPRESS, CALIFORNIA, FOR THE HIGH VISABILITY CROSSWALKS\nIMPROVEMENT PROJECT (PROJECT NO. CTS00004)\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1. Award a contract to Superior Pavement Markings, Inc., of Cypress,\nCalifornia, for the High Visibility Crosswalks Improvement Project\nin the amount of $158,732.50, plus a contingency of $20,000 for\nunforeseen conditions.\n2. Authorize the City Attorney to make necessary nonmonetary\nchanges to the contract.\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement and any\nother documents necessary to effectuate this action, in\naccordance with Section 3.30.170 of the Palm Desert Municipal\nCode.\n4. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Notice of Completion\n(NOC) and the City Clerk to file the NOC upon satisfactory\ncompletion of the project.
