Authorize the Director of Finance to set aside a 10% contingency\nin the amount of $59,122.90 for unforeseen conditions.\n3. Authorize the Executive Director or designee to review and\napprove written requests for the use of the contingency amount.\n4. 13.t AWARD CONTRACT TO HF&H CONSULTANTS, LLC, FOR SOLID 369\nWASTE, RECYCLING, AND ORGANICS CONSULTING SERVICES\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1. Award Contract to HF&H Consultants, LLC, of Irvine, California, for\nSolid Waste, Recycling, and Organics Consulting Services for a\nthree-year term, in an annual amount not to exceed $145,000 plus\n4% annual cost adjustment in each subsequent year.\n2. Authorize contingency in the amount of $10,000 annually for\nunforeseen circumstances.\n3. Authorize the City Attorney to make any necessary nonmonetary\nchanges to the agreement.\n4. Authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement, any\ndocuments necessary to effectuate the actions taken herewith,\nand approve written contract amendment and change order\nrequests for unanticipated conditions per Section 3.30.170 of the\nPalm Desert Municipal Code.

13.u AWARD AN AGREEMENT WITH CASC ENGINEERING AND 431\nCONSULTING, INC., FOR MS4 PERMIT INSPECTIONS AND NPDES\nSUPPORT SERVICES\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1. Award a professional services agreement with CASC Engineering\nand Consulting, Inc., for MS4 Permit Inspections and NPDES\nsupport services in an amount not to exceed $200,000 per fiscal\nyear for a 30-month term commencing now, with two one-year\ncontract extensions.\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement and any\nwritten requests for amendments, and any other documents\nnecessary to effectuate this action, in accordance with Section\n3.30.170 of the Palm Desert Municipal Code.\n3. Authorize the City Attorney to make necessary non-monetary\nchanges to the contract.

13.v AWARD CONTRACT TO SUPERIOR PAVEMENT MARKINGS, INC., OF 481\nCYPRESS, CALIFORNIA, FOR THE HIGH VISABILITY CROSSWALKS\nIMPROVEMENT PROJECT (PROJECT NO. CTS00004)\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1. Award a contract to Superior Pavement Markings, Inc., of Cypress,\nCalifornia, for the High Visibility Crosswalks Improvement Project\nin the amount of $158,732.50, plus a contingency of $20,000 for\nunforeseen conditions.\n2. Authorize the City Attorney to make necessary nonmonetary\nchanges to the contract.\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement and any\nother documents necessary to effectuate this action, in\naccordance with Section 3.30.170 of the Palm Desert Municipal\nCode.\n4. Authorize an amendment to Contract No. C46680 with Interwest\nConsulting Group, Inc., increasing the contract amount by $45,090\nfor additional community outreach meetings and analysis, bringing\nthe total not-to-exceed amount to $309,970, and extending the\ncontract term through December 31, 2025.\n2.
