Approval of Additional Work for Upgrades at the Homeless Housing Family Site\nProject (Serenity Homes) at 13167 Garvey Avenue Consisting of Material and\nEquipment Procurements, and Construction Work It is Staff’s recommendation that\nfile:///Users/sergiopreciado/Desktop/New Agendas/Baldwin Park_City_20230301.html 1/3\nthe City Council: 1. Approve professional services and material procurement\nproposals from: a. Greg Ruvolo (Contractor) for a total amount not-to-exceed\n$38,314.00 consisting of: i. Installation of a glass sliding door in the amount of\n$2,660.00. ii. Installation of an access platform-and-step system in the amount of\n$13,080.00. iii. Perform roofing upgrades to an existing building in the amount of\n$15,280.00. iv. Installation entry gate security system in the amount of $7,294.00; and\nb. Ram Construction and Fencing LLC for the purchase and installation of a glass\nFrench door in the not-to-exceed amount of $12,250.00; and c. Spino Excavating for\nthe repair and installation of epoxy flooring in the not-to-exceed amount of\n$13,200.00; and d. ConvergeOne for procurement and installation of security\ncameras in the notto- exceed amount of $18,407.33; and e. ULINE, Inc. for material\nprocurement for furniture and tables in the amount of $7,559.39. 2. Authorize the\nPublic Works Director to execute the procurement and professional services\nproposals and to coordinate with the various entities in all elements as necessary to\ncomplete the maintenance work at the site; and 3. Authorize the Director of Finance\nto make the necessary budget adjustments and processing of invoices including\nreimbursement requests made to the SGVRHT for qualified expenditures.\nSTAFF REPORT
