A Resolution to Amend the FY 2024-25 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Budget for\n“Park Restroom Construction and Replacement,” Project No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71079\nand Award a Construction Contract\nIt is recommended that the City Council approve the following actions:\n1) Adopt the following resolution:\nRESOLUTION NO. 2024-200 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE\nCITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA TO AMEND THE FY 2024-25 CAPITAL\nIMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING $1,349,671 OF\nAVAILABLE AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN (ARP) FUNDS AND $25,000 OF\nAVAILABLE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT FUND RESERVES TO “PARK\nRESTROOM CONSTRUCTION AND REPLACEMENT,” PROJECT NO.\n428-2590-XXXXX-71079\n2) Award a construction contract to the apparent low bid from ARC Construction, Inc. in\nthe amount of $3,276,373 for the “Park Restroom Construction and Replacement,”\nProject No. 428-2590-XXXXX-71079;\n3) Find that the project referenced above is categorically exempt from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15301(c) and that the\nproposed project will not have a significant effect on the environment; and\n4) Authorize the City Manager to execute the construction contract and any subsequent\nchange orders on behalf of the City, and any memoranda of understanding with City\ndepartments necessary to effectuate the same.
