I.12 AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE MATERIALS AND AWARD A CONSTRUCTION\nCONTRACT FOR POLICE STATION EVIDENCE ROOM AND LOCKERS\nIMPROVEMENTS PROJECT (REPORT OF: POLICE)\nAuthorization to Purchase Materials and Award a Construction Contract for Police\nStation Evidence Room and Lockers Improvements Capital Improvement Plan\nProject 803 0063\nRecommendation(s)\nThat the City Council:\n1. Award a construction contract to McMurray Stern for the Police Station Evidence\nRoom and Lockers Improvements for Capital Improvement Plan Project Number 803\n0063; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute a Construction Contract with McMurray\nStern in the amount of $24,950.00 funded by the Facilities Construction Fund (Fund\n3000); and\n3. Approve the purchase of materials from McMurray Stern in the amount of\n$89,439.48 for the Police Station Evidence Room and Locker Improvements, Project\n803 0063; and\n4. Authorize the issuance of a Purchase Order to McMurray Stern in the amount of\n$114,389.48 for the purchase of materials and installation; and\n5. Authorize the City Manager to execute subsequent Construction Change Orders\nwith McMurray Stern, including the authority to authorize associated purchase orders\nin accordance with the contract terms, subject to the approval of the City Manager\nand within the budgetary amounts previously approved by Council as part of the\nadopted and/or amended budget process.
