I.15 AUTHORIZATION TO AWARD A DESIGN CONTRACT FOR THE STEEPLECHASE\nDRIVE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT (REPORT OF: PUBLIC WORKS)\nAuthorization to Award a Design Contract to Dewberry Engineers Inc. for the\nSteeplechase Drive Reconstruction Project Number 801 0107 Located on\nSteeplechase Drive Between Ironwood Avenue and Kalmia Avenue\nRecommendation(s)\nThat the City Council:\n1. Award a design contract to Dewberry Engineers Inc. for the Steeplechase Drive\nReconstruction Project Number 801 0107 Located on Steeplechase Drive between\nIronwood Avenue and Kalmia Avenue; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute a contract with Dewberry Engineering Inc.,\nin the amount of $388,650 funded by the Measure A Fund (Fund 2001); and\n3. Authorize the issuance of a Purchase Order to Dewberry Engineers Inc. for the\namount of $388,650 once the contract has been signed by all parties; and\n4. Authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer to execute any subsequent\nrelated amendments to the contract with Dewberry Engineering Inc., up to the budget\nas previously approved by the Council, subject to the approval of the City Attorney.
