I.17 APPROVE ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS\nAND APPROVE INCENTIVES FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATION\nEQUIPMENT REBATE PROGRAM (REPORT OF: PUBLIC WORKS)\nApprove additional funding for energy assistance programs and approve incentives\nfor electric vehicle charging station equipment rebate program.\nRecommendation(s)\nThat the City Council:\n1. Approve an additional budget allocation of $200,000 for the Moreno Valley Electric\nUtility Assistance Programs; and\n2. Approve a budget allocation of $200,000 for the Electric Vehicle Charging Station\nEquipment Rebate Program; and\n3. Approve Resolution 2024-XX, a Resolution of the City Council of the City of\nMoreno Valley, California, to approve and confirm the Electric Rules for the Moreno\nValley Electric Utility to be effective January 2025.
