RESOLUTION NO. 24-73 DECLARING THE RESULTS AND RECITING THE\nFACT OF THE SAN GABRIEL GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD\nNOVEMBER 5, 2024\nOn November 5, 2024, a General Municipal Election was held for the purpose\nof electing two members of the City Council. This item is to declare the results:\nThe election of Tony Ding and Jorge Herrera Avila as members of the City\nCouncil for four-year terms. Funding for the election costs is provided in the\napproved Elections Budget for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 (Account No. 121-702-00-\n22-000). Final figures are not yet available as the invoice from the Los Angeles\nCounty Registrar-Recorder has not yet been received.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 24-73 reciting the\nfact of the General Municipal Election held on November 5, 2024, declaring the\nresults and such other matters as provided by law.
