5.5 ADOPT RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF FUNDING\nAGREEMENTS FOR STATE AND FEDERAL FUNDING, APPROVE\nWVWD UTILITY AGREEMENT, APPROVE LACFCD TRASH EXCLUDER\nAGREEMENT AND ADOPT A CLASS 1 CEQA EXEMPTION FOR THE\nDIAMOND BAR BOULEVARD COMPLETE STREETS PROJECT.\nRecommended Action:\nA. Determine that approval of the utility relocation agreements, trash\nscreen installation agreement, and funding documents resolution for\nthe Project is categorically exempt from environmental review under\nthe California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA\nGuidelines Section 15301, Class 1: Existing Facilities;\nB. Adopt Resolution No. 2024-42, to authorize the Public Works\nDirector/City Engineer to sign and execute project related funding\nagreements and documents with the State of California for Federal and\nState Funds;\nC. Approve, and authorize the City Manager to sign an Agreement with\nWalnut Valley Water District to reimburse their costs for relocating or\nadjusting water facilities within the Diamond Bar Blvd. Complete\nStreets project limits; and\nD. Approve, and authorize the City Manager to sign an Agreement with\nLA County Flood Control District to authorize the City to install trash\nscreens on stormwater catch basins and remove future trash from the\ncatch basins citywide, including the Diamond Bar Blvd. Complete\nStreets project limits.\nRequested by: Public Works Department
