B.16. ENDING CONSIDERATION OF PROPOSED ZONING CHANGE FOR HOTEL\nROOFTOP STRUCTURES [N. MARICICH, F. CONTRERAS, T. FARRIS]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider directing staff to cease processing a\nZone Text Amendment (ZTA) that considers allowing for projections above the\nallowed height for hotel rooftop structures.\nRECOMMENDATION: Direct staff to terminate the processing of a proposed\nZone Text Amendment that would permit projections above the allowed height for\nhotel rooftop structures with a conditional use permit (CUP). This item will be\nremoved from the Long Range Planning work plan and will not be considered for\nfuture consideration without City Council direction.
