4. CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF A DISCRETIONARY FUNDS REQUEST FROM\nMAYOR ZNEIMER IN THE AMOUNT OF UP TO $1,000 TO THE SOUTH PASADENA\nTOURNAMENT OF ROSES COMMITTEE FOR DECORATING THE FLOAT\nRecommendation\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Find that the requested allocation of discretionary funds to support the South\nPasadena Tournament of Roses Committee (Committee) to cover expenses for\ndecorating the float as it serves as a public purpose benefitting the City; the\nexpenditure is free from any conflict of interest that arise from the use of the funds;\nand that the expenditure is not a gift to any individual, corporation or municipality\nand is only used to benefit the general public of the City; and\n2. Based on such findings approve the requested expenditure of discretionary funds of\nup to $1,000 to support decorating the float.\nPRESENTATION
